Inaugural post, everybody!

So, this is my first post.  Why?  Because I can’t get the thing that says “Make your first post!” go away.  I’m really not going to start blogging until mid-September next year when I begin to travel around Europe.  I’m just making this blog now because everyone has already left for the summer and I’m bored.  Check back in a few months!
